Since sony doesn't have FPR 3D tv so how it will have flicker image
Sony use active 3D systems. Only LG use the lower resolution FPR 3D system.
Ya, SONY have planned to launch FPR 3D TVs; I hope soon they will be in India with FPR series of 3D.
Well friend you have to wait because in all present 3D TVs SONY do have flickering problem but they are going to launch FPR based 3D TV which will be totally flicker free.
You cannot watch Sony FPR 3D television lying down, sitting or even standing on your head because Sony use active 3D technology and have no FPR models. If you want the lower resolution FPR technology, try LG.
Sony are expected to launched their new TV with FPR (Film Pattern Retarder) technology in the last quarter 2011 or first quarter of 2012.
Like all other premium brands of 3D television, Sony use active technology rather than the lower resolution FPR as used by LG.
Don't be disappointed. FPR is used by LG to make low resolution 3D televisions. Sony use active 3D technology for a full 1080 line resolution in both 2D and 3D operating modes. If you are specifically looking for a 540 line resolution, then LG is your first choice.
Sony, like all other premium television brands, are using active 3D technology rather than the lower resolution FPR system employed by LG.
Neither Sony nor Samsung is coming out with FPR. This technology is also known as passive 3D, used on cheaper 3D televisions such as LG. The resolution is effectively half that of full HD and it seems like a backward step for Sony or Samsung to move to such low resolution technology.
Sorry bro, I am not very sure about it. But I too heard from my friends about the sony is going with the FPR (Film Pattern Retarder) technology for their 3D TV. Anyway hope for the best.
It's unlikely that Sony will move to FPR (passive 3D) as the effective resolution is reduced to only 540 lines. It's the technology used by LG so if you are looking for a cheap and low resolution option, LG are then ones to go for.
Hi dude, sorry I am not aware of it. Anyway it's a good news to all the sony TV fans. Let's hope for the best.
