In my personal opinion, I do. This is from her reaction to her book, Midnight Sun, being leaked. She made quite a large error by handing the incomplete novel around to her friends and family and as a result, millions of her fans now have to suffer. I know of many books by famous authors which have been leaked, and out of all of them, Stephenie Meyer is the only one who has put a book on hold indefinitely. It shows a lack of professionalism as many authors would either continue writing regardless of the leak, or attempt to quicken the pace in which the book is written, and may even rewrite what they have already written.
I personally think that Meyer believed that because she had achieved a level of popularity, she believed that she was untouchable. That she would be free to write and share her novel without any chance of it being leaked. So when it was leaked, it was a massive shock to her as it showed that she was no more special than the countless other authors which have had their books leaked.
Also with the way she negatively stated how she would kill off the main characters due to her present frame of mind after the leak, and how she quickly recanted the statement and blamed the perceived seriousness of the situation on the amount of "lawyer talk" present. Also with the way she said that she didn't want to hear the books name for at least two years, but still decided to release the incomplete novel on her official website, ensuring that it will be under much discussion for quite a long time.
I know that she has made several statements about the fairness to her fans. But personally I think that if she truly was fair to her fans, she would return to Midnight Sun and continue to complete it. It also stands to reason to question why Meyer feels she can write another book in the Twilight Saga, The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner, given her state of mind, when she cannot find it within herself to continue writing the very book millions of her fans are dying to see completed.
Anyone is free to add to this, but please refrain from deleting the previous answer(s). Everyone does deserve their say on this issue.
Stephenie Meyer has not publicly expressed arrogance or entitlement regarding her work. While Twilight's success has undoubtedly contributed to her popularity and career success, it does not necessarily indicate an ego-driven attitude.
Because hers books are really famous and she is a good author for the " Twilight Sagas "
Did you really just ask that!? wow... -_-
You can go to multiple Twilight sights, all you really have to look for are twilight fan sights.
Emily didn't inspire Stephenie to write, but more-so just to try and get the book (Twilight) published because she read the book and really enjoyed it. She told Stephenie to try to publish it because she thought that a lot of people would enjoy the book.
i dont really know but i just wanted to get rid of that stupid answer
Mostly teen fiction. The books that are really popular right now with teens are the Uglies series (Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras) by Scott Westerfeld and the Twilight series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse) by Stephenie Meyer.
Stephenie Meyer, the author of The Twilight Saga, writes books because she feels that it protrays her real feelings for people and life. She thinks that it is a great way to express your ideas. She enjoys writing and has a lot of books, inculding The Twilight Saga and The Host. Many different details are avaiable on Stephenie Meyer's website, which is avaiable for visiting in the Links Section below on this page.

The Twilight book series was written by author Stephenie Meyer in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was living at the time. Meyer was inspired by a dream she had in 2003, which eventually led to the creation of the popular vampire romance novels.
