It's a matter of opinion. I, myself, like the 39 Clues better, but most people like Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It depends on what you want to read about. If you want humor, go for Diary of a Wimpy Kid. If you want action/adventure, go for the 39 Clues, though the 39 Clues does have many jokes. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is more focused on comedy.
