CVT's are not entirely new, and not exclusive to Toyota. I think it was a German concept, but I am not sure. Other manufacturers like Ford are also using CVT's. The answer, as far as Toyota is concerned would have to be answered by Toyota engineers. The Ford 500 uses a CVT and the Escape Hybrid uses a variation of the CVT. The trend does seem to indicate that all the manufacturers are going in that direction, and that there will be more CVT's on the road soon. So I would expect the answer to be yes for all manufacturers, Toyota and everyone else.
Many manufacturers offer vehicles with Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT), including brands like Honda, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota. Popular models featuring CVTs include the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Subaru Outback, and Toyota RAV4. CVTs are often praised for their smooth acceleration and fuel efficiency. However, their performance characteristics can differ significantly from traditional automatic transmissions.
The Weight Change.
The independent variable would be the weight of the vehicles being investigated. This is the variable that is intentionally changed or manipulated by the researcher in order to observe its effect on the speed of the vehicles, which would be the dependent variable.
Increase in population = increase in demand for vehicles = increase in vehicles = increase in vehicular pollution
some vehicles can also take Automatic transmission fluid. but look in the owners manual to be certin Macs Transmissions (Houston, TX) 281-394-4951 Macstransmissions@gmail.com Older vehicles used 90 wt Gear lube for MANUAL transmissions. Newer vehicles use 10 wt or other lighter oils. Refer to the owners manual to find out what is recommended.
A4LD transmissions were installed in ford aerostars , rangers and explorers
vehicles with automatic transmissions require transmission fluid. vehicles with manual transmissions require either transmission fluid or gear oil. the fluid helps reduce friction between internal parts, reduce heat, and lubricates.
Allison Transmission manufactures fully automatic transmissions for commercial vehicles, military vehicles, and hybrid propulsion systems for transit buses.
Honda ATF is used only for Honda's Automatic Transmission vehicles. HMMF & CVT Fluid are used for Honda's Continuously Variable Transmission vehicles. HMMF is more expensive and for the Japan domestic market. CVT for the export models but both works well.
Variable cost: The cost change with the change in activity is called variable cost. So as much fuel used cost increased accordingly so it is variable cost.
On most vehicles the fan or fans will run continuously if the A/C is on. If the A/C is off and it is continuously running check the thermal switch.
A good 50 precent of vehicles are manual transmission. They are cheaper, however the cost come back since you have to replace the clutch faster.
