From a 1959 manual the gernator was an option, apparently not standard.
I found the manual from searching this forum.
However in another forum I read if it has a selectric shift, then it probably has the generator. I've got a 62 Lark that is DOA right now, or at least I suspect it. I ran it and it ran well for a while, then one day while we were out a ways it kind of just kept losing power until we barely got to the dock. Once there I tried to start it, but it wouldn't. Someone told me it's probably the water pump and that honing the cylinder's may fix it. I haven't decided anything yet. Kind of thought of just getting an bit of a newer engine with a tiller, since the rest of the boat is in pretty bad shape right now.
