I had an 89 4trax that done same thing. Its in the wiring harness under the gas tank you will have to take it apart and test each wire individually. the connectors will be corroded. it a very poor design and location.
Not without electrical work. The 1997+ Preludes have OBD2 wire harness while the 92-96 Have OBD1. Different wire harness/sensors/ecu.

buy the correct wiring harness for the car at a stereo shop along with a dash kit wire colors all match its really easy..
when you buy the harness to wire in, the intructions for correct wiring will be on the harness packaging
its the blue wire, alot of ppl run it off the distributor, but why, when these cars came with a tach in the Si trim, just splice into the blue wire on the gauge cluster harness
