NO.
It wil bolt up to the D-series motor. However, 5th gen (1992-1995) Civics have hydro transmissions, 4th gen have cable transmissions. If you're handy with fabrication and a welder, I suppose you could make an adapter to make it work.
If your talking about an automatic, then the 5th gen ECU won't be kind to your CEL.
The 1993 hoda civic 5 speeb
1988-1991 Honda civic dx,si,standard civic, crx dx,hf,si any Honda auto trans 1988-1991 will fit it
Yeah, it will fit. But the 1991 civic sohc 1.5 transmission is cable and the 1992-1995 transmission is hydraulic. So yeah it will fit no it will not work with out doing other work. Also The speed sensor is cable in the 1991 and the 1992-1995 is electronic,.....so more work.
Any 88-91 Honda Civic.
No it will not interchange. You need an Accord transmission from a 1990-1993.
Both models are the 5th generation so they should have the same transmission.
