motor or engine you mean , right.

starter is a motor so is windshied wipers. F&R

but my guess is the engine swap , right?

yes and no.

the 95s had 8v and 16v

(and impossible ,near in Calif. due to extensive visual inspections)

ill answer for out side a smog zone.

1: 8v to 8v ok

2: 16v to 16v engine swaps.ok

the only issues is the EGR changes. in the harness and ECU.

swapping 8v to 16v or reverse is huge changes,

Mounts, clutch. engine , head, ECU and all engine bay harnesses and cab.
