How to remove the factory radio and disconnect wirring harnes in a 2004 f150 ford truck
Contact the dealership. Most can obtain a unlock code for the factory radio. Since it's a Chevy I'm assuming it's a Delco raido. Go to www.delcolockcodes.com and they'll be able to get you your specific unlock code.
IF it is a 1/2 ton truck then a 4l60E belongs in it from the factory. IF it is a 3/4 ton truck then a 4l80E was factory in it.
color code fro radio hook up
in a f/s truck it is 250hp factory.
7.75x15 thanks
FIRST YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FACE OF YOUR dash IT JUST POPS OFF... THEN U CAN SEE THE RADIO JUST UNSCREW THEN PULL OUT THEN UNPLUG WIRE HARNESS.
That would be a 4L60E transmission. That is what belongs in the truck and came in that truck from the factory. NEUTZ.
One can purchase a Chevy truck radio through a variety of sources. One source would be your local automotive parts store such as O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Or you can go to Amazon as well and look for one.
humming noise is a bad ground to the radio. you may have a loose connection. connect a ground wire to frame of truck.
Remove the retaining cover from your 1994 Chevy S 10 pickup truck radio. Remove the radio retaining bolts. Slide the radio out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the radio.
