Yes it has fuel injection ( 8 fuel injectors )
To my knowlege the spider fuel injector system came out in the 96 models. 1995 still had the throttle body injection.
Evidently pretty hard. My mechanic took 4 hours but he is the slowest most depressing man to watch work....
Premium unleaded , 91 octane or higher ( according to the 1996 Lincoln Continental Owner Guide )
on the fuel rail. depending if it is throttle body, or a vortec
inside the intake attached to the injector module
The catalytic convertor might be at fault.
fuel injector, throttle body.
Fuel injector... At least that's why MY '96 Metro dies.. It's been fixed now of course and I've had no more problems
An empty fuel tank A defective fuel pump A plugged fuel filter Damaged fuel lines A week injector pump
If you have spark to the spark plug, the fuel injector may be at fault.
The sir suspension switch should be located in the front passenger wheel well. It should be there on a Lincoln Continental and most other vehicles with air suspension.
Chandge the fuel filter first then try running some injector cleaner through it. If that doesn't work a mechanic will have to look at it.
