You need a game designed for MAC to work and it is more important than the disc type
If your Macbook Pro has a DVD/CD drive just insert the game CD in the drive and follow the directions. If you do not have a DVD/CD drive you will need to copy the game to a flash drive or use an external DVD/CD drive to install it. Of course the game will have to be Mac compatible or it will not run on a Mac.
No. None of the models of MacBook Air have CD drives.
Yes. Download boxer (a free build of dosbox). Insert your CD of the game. Boxer will read it and you can play the game in its dos emulation. Works perfectly on a macbook as I can testify!
Games labelled PC will require the Windows operating system. The MacBook uses the Mac OS X operating system and so games designed for PC/Windows computers will not work on a Mac. You will either need to purchase a version of the game designed for Mac OS X or install the Windows operating system on your MacBook and then use the PC/Windows game.
Wait u can burn cds !?!?!? O.O
Most do, but the Macbook pro with Retina Display does not.
GO to 'My Computer'. then you should see a letter with a D or something, that contains your CD. If it does not work or you dont see it then you either put in a DVD game that doesnt work with your regular CD drive. OR you put in a CD game into a DVD drive. or it could be that you have a bad CD/DVD or a bad drive.
Perhaps the CD is only operable on a Windows OS? That, or the CD has severe superficial damage.
if any of your friends have this game, then borrow the CD and copy it.if its not work then broke the crack of the CD.
The macbook air super-drive is basically a disk drive(like the ones you find in other mac laptops). You can use it to play dvds, cds and games.
yes, there is a portable cd drive you can purchase at an apple store
The DVD drive in a MacBook Pro can burn Audio CD, Data CD, and DVD disks. It will not burn Blu-Ray disks. Types of writes: CD-Write: -R, -RW DVD-Write: -R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW
