The bite of a praying mantis is not
harmful to human as they are not poisonous. If a child is bitten by a praying mantis simply wash the area of the bite and reassure the child that they will be fine.
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I suppose this is a matter of opinion, but in general, A praying mantis bite would only hurt if it was an unusually large insect, and even then it would only be comparative to, say, an ant bite. Their mouths are very small and they hardly ever bite humans anyhow. They are not aggresive by nature and basically pretty mild mannered insects (unless of course it is mating time and you happen to be the male praying mantis!! because as most people aleardy know, the females tend to bite the head of the male while they are still mating!!).
So, to sum things up....does a praying mantis bite hurt? Putting aside the bias opinion of the male Praying Mantis :) it depends on the size of the insect and your pain tolerance level...some people scream over an ant bite, some people just squish the ant and curse at it :) Most praying mantis are too small to bite you in any significant way, but if you do come into contact with a rather large one, yes, they can bite you but typically don't, and if they do, it isn't anything serious. There is no venom in their bites to worry about either.
Mantises are not poisonous and the worst that can happen is you bleed a bit.
if you get bit or scratched by a praying mantis nothing will happen so dont worry
Probably not much to be honest , the dog may be left with a tiny cut if anything.

It depends. For a cricket, the bite is the kiss of death. For a person, you wouldn't even notice it.

Absolutely not! They make great pets and are easy to care for.
The male praying mantis dances around the female to impress her before mating. When feeling threatened, the praying mantis spread their wings and front legs with their mouth open so that they appear taller than their original height. If still feel threatened, the praying mantis will either bite or fly away from the predator.
baby mantis when they emerge from the egg will be a half inch long.
