Yes.

A newly-emerged queen will look for and sting through any other queen cells to kill the developing queen inside, and guard bees at the hive entrance will sting any bees trying to attack the hive in the hope of robbing the honey inside.

Our beloved Blu a female 35 yr old Macaw got stung by a bee we believe she stared acting lithargic the fell off and wasnt breathing
