He is either not respecting you, or he is a coward in front of his friends. The only other answer is if he is not aware that he may be hurting your feelings and you need to talk to him about it privately. If he is aware and is not more careful, then the problem will get worse until it is resolved. I'm a guy too and it is probably one of these three reasons, or a combination. I am not a guy myself, but I have heard that some guys do tease girls they like. But even if it was only because they like you, then you shouldn't want to like him because he doesn't respect you enough.

∙ 13y agoIf he's teasing you or making fun of you in a playful manner he could be just having fun (guys rag on their buddies often) or trying to get attention from you, if hes being extremely harsh and condescending he probably genuinely doesn't like you or is just a jerk. You have to read his body language, if hes smiling or relaxed he's probably just having fun, some guys test girls sense of humor by teasing them, it varies quite a bit.
