No. Budgies are birds. Birds do not get pregnant, as reproduction is done through the laying of eggs. The eggs take about three weeks to form properly in the body, but this is not called "pregnancy". They look the same when they are laying eggs as when they aren't. In other words, birds don't "hold" their eggs inside their bodies and show a big belly to indicate that eggs are on the way. The egg shell is the last thing that develops right before the egg is laid, therefore, a hen doesn't "show" in the sense that human women "show" when they are pregnant.
No. It means you are feeding your budgie too much.
if you have a budgie for quite awhile and then get another budgie your original budgie will get territorial and attack the newer bird. If this is the case you need to get to cages and slowly show the new budgie to the older budgie. keep doing it again and again until eventually you should be able to keep the two birds in one cage.
Because they are not pregnant yet, but they will soon. I used a clenax box as a nest for them and I wrote "Nest" and my green and white budgie mating happend.
The girl budgie would attack the new boy budgie and not the old girl budgie because she is used to the other girl budgie and is not familiar to the new boy budgie.

Budgie IS the contraction. The full name is Budgerigar.
Budgies are simple to take care of but read these hints and instructions very carefully: 1. Give your budgie a safe and large enough cage. 2. Give your budgie plenty of fun toys. Replace the toys regularly so your budgie doesn't get bored. Leave your budgie's favorite toy inside. 3. Give your budgie check-ups at the vet at least once a month. 4. Feel your budgie's breastbone (or wishbone) everyday to make sure your budgie isn't fat. You cannot feel the breastbone if your budgie is fat. 5. Give your budgie high-quality food. 6. Replace your budgie's water EVERYDAY! 7. Clean your budgie's cage every week. 8. Have your budgie stay outside the cage WITH YOUR SUPERVISION! 9. Feel your budgie's food (or look) for seeds that have not been eaten or it will starve. 10. Enjoy the budgie!
