Most commercial Bunn coffee makers are intended for high-volume applications. In this case, running back and forth to a tap to get water takes up valuable time, so they are tied into water lines permanently. Some of the lower-capacity units are stand-alone, and water must be fetched to them.
The Bunn coffeemaker brews 12 cups of coffee. There is also a Bunn 10-cup carafe coffeemaker. These two products can be purchased at Target, Wal-Mart, Sears and Sam's Club.
Bunn commercial coffeemakers run for years without service. Parts are available for all models. If you want a tough and reliable coffeemaker, a commercial Bunn is a good choice.
A large Bunn coffee machine uses about $23 worth of electricity per year. A regular 12- cup coffer maker only uses about $12 worth of electricity per year.
Bunn coffeemakers have an excellent reputation for quality and durability. They will generally cost more than some other models but the added quality makes them worth the extra expense.
No, there is no timer for advance-programming this Bunn Thermofresh BTX-B coffeemaker to brew your coffee. It also doesn't feature pause-and-pour or strength settings, so you have to consider whether it offers enough functions for the price.
That is a question impossible to answer without knowing how much coffee you drink and how particular you are about it. But taking a shot in the dark here, you might want to look into a Bunn Coffee Maker. It's a reliable brand and even available for a great price online at stores like Daily Cuppa Coffee: http://www.dailycuppacoffee.com/shop-by-brands/bunn. Hope this is what you're looking for!

Not unless you put distilled water in the water reservoir to begin with. The water in an automatic drip coffeemaker is heated and then is "showered" over the coffee grounds in the brew basket. Many coffeemakers come with some sort of water filtration but none that I am aware of distill the water as it works its way through the heating and brewing process.
