No all oxygen atoms do not have the same mass as you can get isotypes of the same element which are still called the same except that they can have more or less neutrons than the standard model this is why the weight is refered to as an average mass

hey i will answer ur question because i do chemistry, atoms and atomic struucture. well i think behalf of ur question that atom, chemistry and atomic sturucture is no the same cause it has different mass of chemistry, atom, and atomic structure. well i dont really care if go dont go for this answer but this what i think about it. :)

The atomic weight of oxygen is [15,99903; 15,9997], after the IUPAC list from 2014.

The density of oxygen gas at 0C and 101,325 kPa is 1,429 g/L.

No. They do not have same mass. Mass of carbon atom is 12 times that of hydrogen atom and mass of oxygen is 16 times that of hydrogen atom.

Does an atom of carbon have the same mass of oxygen?

Carbon and oxygen or two different elements, with different masses.

Do carbon and oxygen have the same atomic mass?

They don't contain the same number of particles because some particles are more dense than others making one atom and another atom the same mass but not have the same number of particles.

does carbon atom have the same mass as a oxgen atom?

نعم

A carbon atom of mass number 12 and a carbon atom of mass number 14 are?

Isotopes. Iso = same, as in the # of protons. Radioisotope is more accurate.

Is carbon dioxide the same as carbon monoxide?

No it's not the same. Carbon monoxide is CO and carbon dioxide is CO2. Carbon monoxide comes out of car exhausts and is poisonous if breathed in. CO2 is much less dangerous, though it is also a health hazard if the concentration is high enough. There are two oxygens atoms attached to the carbon atom in carbon dioxide (thus the name). There is only one oxygen atom attached to the carbon atom.

A certain mass of carbon reacts with 13.6g of oxygen to form carbon monoxide what amount of grams of oxygen would react with that same mass of carbon to form carbon dioxide?

27.2 g

Who has greater kinetic energy a hydrogen atom or a carbon atom moving at the same speed?

carbon because it has a greater mass.

Is carbon and carbon monoxide the same?

No - carbon is an element, while carbon monoxide is an oxygen atom attached to carbon, turning it into a gas which is quite toxic.

Why is it inaccurate to say that CO is 50 percent oxygen?

Because the mass of carbon is not the same as that of oxygen.

Is an oxygen atom bigger than a hydrogen atom?

An oxygen atom has 8 of each neutrons, electrons, and protons. While a carbon atom has only 6 of each. I had the same problem! So i hope this helped :)

Why number of protons in an atom of any carbon isotope is six?

An atom is carbon _because_ it has six protons. An isotope is any atom that has a differing atomic mass while maintaining the same elemental identity, i.e., the same number of protons.

Does an oxygen atom weight the same as a hydrogen atom?

an oxygen and a hydrogen atom do not weight the same
