No, not that I know of. Chicken is the species. A rooster is a male chicken. A hen is a female chicken. A chick is a young, undeveloped chicken.

Chickens reproduces by mating, then sperm fertilizes the egg, shell forms , hen lays the egg, hen keeps egg warm, baby chicken grows inside , and after 21 days chick hatches.

Can a chicken reproduce without a rooster? The answer is NO, however, a hen will lay eggs, but a rooster is needed to fertilize the egg in order for it to hatch into a baby chicken.,
