As with every other job the standard work week is 40 hours, however as a nonexempt employee technicians get payed for overtime so the actual payed work week may be longer. When I was a technician and delivery deadlines got tight, 60 hour to 80 hour work weeks were common and I knew some technicians that occasionally did 100+ hour work weeks (I have no idea when those guys slept).
