The fixture construction has nothing to do with the amount of energy that the fixture uses. It is the lamp in the fixture that draws the amperage. This amperage times the fixtures voltage is what gives you the fixtures wattage. W = A x V. Watts = Amps x Volts.
The light fixture does not consume electricity. It is the light bulb that the fixture holds which draws the power. The light bulb draws the same amount of power regardless of which position it is in.
It does not matter what configuration the light fixture is in. The wattage consumption will be the same.
Sleep mode uses less electricity than running mode.
Normal incandescent bulbs produce a lot of heat as well as light, so are not so efficient as low energy bulbs which can give the same light but consume much less electricity
No! we dont need more, we need to consume less!

No device. Because of magnetic shield no magnets can produce any effect on the rotation of the disk in the electricity meter. You better consume less electricity there by your bill will be in your budget.
Yes, LCDs use a lot less energy
True Refridgerators do have an energy star rating. This means they do in fact consume less electricity than the refridgerators that do not have an energy star rating.
Fluorescent light bulbs use less electricity for the amount of light produced.
Nothing is faster than the speed of light.
LED lights use substantially less electricity than most other kinds of lighting -- even less than compact fluorescent bulbs.
