No I learned this when i was playing Pokemon diamond and my black DS broke and when i bought a polar white one my data was on the same game card. The data is inside the game card.
The memory card is the game card.
The Nintendo DS doesn't actually require memory cards for game saving, the memory needed to save games is built into the game cartridges themselves.
The original DS and DS Lite cannot take a memory card at all. The DSi takes SD memory cards.
You cant, the ds system and ds card system work by saving data onto the game card itself, if it doesnt let you have more than one save file that's it you will have to suffer or buy another game
Nintendo DS game saves are stored on the game chip, not the console.
All game data is saved on the game cartridge itself. The DS does not have internal memory for saving game data - the DSi has a memory card, but also does not save game data to it.
The current largest capacity memory card available for the DS is a 16GB SD.
The memory card is built into the machine.
Currently, the largest memory for a DS (Digital Secure) memory card is 128 GB. Secure digital is a non volatile memory card format for use in in portable devices, such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and tablet computers.
yes because that is where the save files for that game are stored * The games themselves are not in memory, technically. They're sort of hard-wired onto the card. Save files are stored separately on the card in the form of EEPROM. So yes and no. The cards have a tiny amount of EEPROM memory but the rest of it cannot be programmed after manufacturing.
The memory card is an SD card, which you can get at most electronic stores. I think you can also get one from the Nintendo website, but I'm not positive.
on a 2gb about 40
