well yes ,if you redirect the files to the external drive.
Documents, pictures, music, games, addresses, emails
An external hard drive should be able to be used with any files.
Only if you copy them.
heehee
Use an external DVD/ CD drive
Yes, it should be enough! If you want to store a lot of music, videos or movies, buy an external drive, and that's it. Depending on what student you are, and what softwares you use, 320 should be enough (architect, design) or more than enough (text files, word) for your work.
If you are talking about storing documents, pictures, music, and etc., then the best thing to do would be to get an external hard drive. Just google the selected bold text and you should be able to take it from there.
"Enough" will greatly depend on what you plan to do with the drive. It's more than large enough to transfer documents between computers, and it could probably hold a couple dozen XVid-encoded movies, or most people's music collections. It is likely unsuitable for higher-definition video.
It depends on what you will be using it for. If you plan to just browse internet and maybe do some typing 80GB is more than enough. If you plan to put any games or download music you may want to go with more like 200GB. If you have anything important I would also buy an external hard drive then you can go from computer to computer and have extra storage. The size of an external also would depend on what you would put on it. 500GB will last you a very long time, but a 200GB will also be enough to hold alot of music, movies, and pictures.
transferring data such as music or pictures from your computer to your flash drive
Open the external HD, find the file and drag it over to the computer and drop in the file you want it in.
I would get an external 250GB hard drive for movies and pics. Or if you backing up your whole Master drive a 1.5TB External hard drive world be the best.
