A/C fan clutch is bad. A/C fan clutch is bad.
First check your fuse for your AC in your fuse box, make sure it is good. Make sure your cooling fan is turning on when you turn on your AC, if not it could be your fan relay. If the AC compressor fan clutch is kicking on and off then it just needs freon. If the AC compressor fan clutch is not turning then it could be completely out of freon due to a leak, or you need a new AC compressor.
You may be hearing the fan clutch kick on, which is normal.
check clutch fan
Check to make sure the fan clutch is engaging.
Hard to understand your question! First, on the crowns with clutch fan and electric fan. When the a/c is off, just the clutch fan will run, if not then have it replaced, when the engine gets too hot then the electric fan will start, if not have the sensor replaced, or check the fan. When you put the a/c on, the electric fan will start, and the clutch fan will stop. Both are temp. sensitive. If the electric fan is always on, then the clutch fan will not turn. Have the sensor checked. I hope this covers your problem.
Could be clutch cooling fan engaging

use a piece of duct tape and wrap the clutch assembly
try replacing the clutch on the fan. when the clutch pressure weakens over time it does not engage the fan enough to cool the ac evaporator and the radiator at the same time. a variable speed controlled electric fan would be ideal for it would turn on low when ac is on and speed up if needed to cool the temp of the engine. a side affect on an electric fan would be improved gas mileage.
It is bolted to the driver's side front of the engine bay right near the AC Dryer. There are two relays there one for the AC Clutch and one for the condenser fan.
Your cooling fans are not coming on, or the clutch fan is bad.
