Yes it has a left and right one is long and one is short.
The front axles are your "driveshafts" on ALL front wheel drive vehicles. Other wise there are no drive shafts.
Driveshaft transfers transmission revolutions to the rear differential (rear end gears then to axles) on rear wheel drive vehicles. Or if front wheel drive, the driveshafts is acually called CV (Constant Velocity) Shafts. It transfers transmission revolutions directly to the front wheels (hubs)
Cars with front wheel drive have a transmission that also acts like a differential, feeding the power to the outside wheel when going around a corner. This type of transmission is called a trans axle, because the drive shafts go directly from the transmission to the wheels.
NO it will not. The center shafts or different lengths. The center shafts in the 4-wheel drive transmissions are longer so the transfur case will fit onto it.
i don't think Honda CRVs are rear wheel drive...pretty sure there only front wheel drive and those use half shafts not drive-shafts.
yes a 97 grand prix is front wheel drive. if you look behind the driver or passanger tire towards the motor you will see two shafts well one on each side, these shafts are called cv axles. if u see them then its a front wheel drive
a front wheel drive transmission
sounds like a front wheel drive with bad cv joints, which are your drive shafts going to both front wheels.
As it a front wheel drive, it has two half-shafts that go to the two front wheels.
#1, a front wheel drive transverse transmission also contains the differential assembly.
1) Is it a standard transmission or automatic engine? 2) Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive? If it is a standard transmission, you wont have a dip stick. if it is an automatic front wheel drive, it'll be on driver's side front.
The engine, transaxle and axles (half-shafts).
