i think they only have either one or two baby guinea pigs but i am not sertin because i don't think a animal that small can carry more than two baby guinea pigs at once but you never no i might be wrong
Well, my guinea pig had 8 on her first liter. I think they usually have four or so babies a guinea pig has 2 to 6 babies in one litter.
No puppy should be taken away from its Dam and litter mates before it is 7 weeks old. They learn a significant amount about how to interact with other dogs in that time which they can't learn if they are not with their litter mates and mother.
It is not advised to breed guinea pigs. Because the babies are born large and ready to run, the female can double or even triple her size! Every time you breed, there is a 1 in 5 chance she will die. If you still want to breed, I have heard that 2 or 3 litters is the most she should have.
yes
No, they all have multiple births. It is possible for dogsto only have one puppy in a litter but not normal.
yes you can potty train a guinea pig and it is so easy to train them but you have to be patient. if you would like to see how to potty train a guinea pig then go on you tube and type in how to potty train a guinea pig and you can see all you need to know
Yes, all the pigs in a litter typically have the same father. In swine reproduction, a sow (female pig) mates with a boar (male pig) during estrus, and if she breeds with only one boar during that time, all the piglets in the resulting litter will share the same father. However, if a sow mates with multiple boars during her heat cycle, it is possible for the litter to have piglets from different fathers.
A litter of guinea pigs can range anywhere from one to six babies. Because of this large variation, I find it is helpful to breed two females at a time so that they can care for each other's young. Guinea pigs are very social creatures by nature, so keeping mutliple guinea pigs together is a good idea.
The most common number is '2' but in rare cases 3 or even 4 cubs are born in one litter.
When a guinea pig purrs it means it is happy and contented...my guinea pig used to purr every time I picked her up and snuggled into her ears....
Yes for example a white cat mate with a Siamese and a tortiseshell .In the litter there might be a white kitten, Siamese kitten, and tortiseshell kitten.
Your male guinea pig is trying to mate with your female guinea pig.
