It depends , If you have had the Guinea Pig for more than half a month , they usually dont accept the body harness lead , but if you train them to like it when you first have them , they should be okay.
The guinea-pig that is "shivering" is just simply telling the other one to BACK OFF
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
Its a guinea pig!
Every guinea pig has a different temperament. Some are cuddly, some are skittish, some don't like being petted, others enjoy it greatly.
Guinea Pigs poke with their nose to show greetings, emotions, etc. It is like saying hello to that Guinea Pig.
They like being petted on the back.
a guinea pig and a mouse aren't the same the guinea pig must have its own type of food like alphalpha pelets and hamsters should eat seeds, nuts, etc. Seeds and nuts are like poison to a guinea pig if the guinea pig and mouse are just eating alphalpha pelets (not seeds) i would say its ok.
You can by him/her a run so it can run about or by a guinea pig lead though that is quite cruel/dangerous or a play tube.
I have all three and I would say a guinea pig because they have a lot of strange characteristics like being a rodents but also diurnal.
yes my guinea pig is a boy and he loves to be brushed all the time with a cat brush
An abyssinian guinea pig has Rossets in its fur such as the images below:
