No Because, They get ill if you give them something other than water , just like if you gave them chocolate , but i found out that my pet shop has pet chocolate , :D Hope this helpss
I give my syrain hamster the specialised treats and he has never gotten ill. On the package there are the reccomended daily allownce....I think a syrian hamster can have around 3 chocolate hamster treats per day.
