Apple has just released the details about the iPod Touch 5th generation which has a 5 megapixel camera for picture taking along with a flash. The 4th generation also has a camera but, if I am correct, the camera is only .7 megapixels and no flash. But the 3rd generation does not have a camera. The 4th generation currently is $200 for a 8GB iPod Touch, $250 for 32GB, $320 for 64GB (Refurbished). If you wait till the iPod Touch 5 is available for ordering or a while after, the price of the iPod Touch 4 should go down. The prices for the iPod Touch 5 are $300 for the 32GB and $400 for the 64GB
Nano 7 is coming out and will be very thin. Cme with earpods and have a larger touchscreen
The camera on Apple's iPod Touch 4th generation (regardless of whether it is a 8gb, 32gb, or a 64gb) has a .7 megapixel camera. The front facing camera is .3 megapixels. ^what a load of sh*t! i have this ipod and as if its a 7mp rear, my phone is clearer than my ipod and my phone is a 2mp so that answer is bullsh*t people!
Depending on what generation the iPod is, it can do different things. The fourth generation can do the following: 1. Listen to Music 2. Watch Movies that you can buy off of iTunes 3. Watch TV Shows 4. Watch movies that you rent off iTunes 5. Watch music videos 6. Look at Photos that you can put on your iPod 7. Watch Podcasts which you can buy off iTunes 8. Play Games 9. And more... On the fifth generation nano you can do all of the above and you can capture video on your iPod.
The newest iPod Nano, which allows you to play music, watch movies, organise by album and has a special feature camera which only takes video, came out 09-09-09. It is very good and costs as follows: 8 gigabytes: $149/£106 16 gigabytes: $179/£132.83 Totally worth it!
The original iPod nano was launched on September 7, 2005. I don't know if the date of invention is publicly known.
It already has. The iPod Touch 4th Generation has a back camera that can take .7 megapixel still pictures and 720p HD videos, and a front camera that can take 640x480 VGA images. It was released on September 1, 2010.
The 2nd Generation iPod Does not have the processing power to run iOS 7. Neither does the 3rd or 4th generation. Only the 5th generation iPod Touch can be legally updated to iOS 7.

2 The latest (2010, 4th generation) iPod Touch has a 960x720 photo, HD video camera at the back and a VGA (poor quality) camera at the front. Both can make videos as well as photos.
The only iPod that can run iOS 7 is the 5th generation iPod Touch.
Currently (as of December 7, 2009), the iPod Touch 3rd generation is the latest generation and the newest iPod touch.
