Yes, although you can try to " hop " the border, i would not sugust this. But to answer your question correctly, you do need a real passport... Or a really good fake, good luck
You are able to. I was a permanent resident with a green card( actually pink) and i went to Mexico and Canada with it.
Having a passport and/or Visa is a legal way to enter the U.S. from Mexico.
Not if you are a citizen or legal resident of the United States. If you choose to travel between these two points by driving through Canada on any part of the trip it will be required.
does a citizen of Mexico need a passport to go from the us to Mexico and back? He is legal to be in us but not a us citizen.
if you are trying to be legal, then none of them. you gotta get a passport to travel in/out of the country. if you are trying to be legal, then none of them. you gotta get a passport to travel in/out of the country. Not true!! loop cruises (depart & return same port).

Absolutely. Even if they are legal Resident Aliens. And I belive they need a passport issued by Mexico, and should keep one current as Permanent Resident Aliens, they are still Mexican Nationals.
No you dont need a pasaport
Yes, children need a passport to travel to Tijuana, Mexico. All U.S. citizens, including minors, are required to present a valid passport or passport card when entering Mexico. Additionally, if the child is traveling with only one parent or someone who is not their parent or legal guardian, it's advisable to carry a notarized letter of consent from the absent parent(s). Always check for the latest travel requirements before your trip.
To cross INTO Mexico, you need...nothing. You just walk or drive through. However, in order to get OUT of Mexico, you need a U.S Passport and it's always a good idea to carry around some form of identification, just in case.
You do not need a passport to cruise ONLY if you are on a "closed loop" cruise from the United States. (i.e your port where you embark on is in Florida and at the end of your cruise you come back to Florida to disembark.) If you are starting or ending your cruise in another country then you will need a passport. Also check the U.S customs and borders web site. www.WHTI. Gov
If the child is a legal resident of Mexico, that is where an order for child support is filed.
