by adding more weight to the other side
A very practical example of mechanical advantage is the use of a "cheater bar." If you find a bolt that is hard to break, simply slip a long pipe or similar object over the handle and it will apply much more torque.
If one of the wings are longer , then the longer of the two wings will produce more lift due the increase in surface area .
There is a reason birds fly and pigs do not. Birds have hollow bones and are light. The lift of the wings can support their light weight. Pigs have heavy bones and do not have the strength to either jump or lift in their appendages to support their weight. In airplanes, a heavy airplane, C130, must have more lift in the wings than a light airplane.
A lever is a simple machine that changes the distance the force is applied over. It is helpful by since the force is applied over distance you can lift things. One example of this machine is a seesaw and a boat paddle. If we did not have this machine on a seesaw we would stay balance. Levers are devices that increase the force you use them with. Each lever has three main parts: the fulcrum, resistance arm, and effort arm.

Depends on the weight of the aircraft. A 747 has bigger wings than a A320 but that doesn't mean it will glide longer because a 747 weighs much more than a A320. This is to do with weight opposing the lift force. The more weight, the more lift has to be created in order to overcome it (And then provide extra lift to climb). Hypothetically, putting 747 wings on an a320 would mean it would glide longer yes, but obviously in reality this isn't possible for structural reasons.
it is proven that you can lift your weight or more And you can push nearly 2 times more with your legs!
On average, most people can lift around 50-70% of their body weight in a single rep. However, trained individuals or athletes can sometimes lift more, up to 80-90% of their body weight. This percentage can vary based on factors such as muscle strength, technique, and conditioning.
by being stupid
more weight less reps more weight less reps
Because longer handles distribute weight more evenly, as apposed to shorter handles which are for lighter objects that don't require the same weight distribution.add. And the length between the handles and the wheel axle may be considered as a lever, with the load carried in between.[note. Chinese wheelbarrows of old used to have the wheel under the load, which makes for a more maneuverable wheelbarrow, but suited really to smooth country.]
yes
Yes it does. The more weight that there is in the rocket, the more energy it takes to lift off. Its the same as if you raised your hand above your head and it's empty. Put a ten pound weight in it and you have to exert more energy to lift it.
Basically they 'curve' the wing, forcing the airflow to lift more weight.
because gravity is pulling the weight down...
A rating plate will be on the forklift which should tell you the max lift weight, it will lift more but this is very dangerous
