Ten years ago I went on a macrobiotic diet and lost 20 lbs. I stayed fairly strict macrobiotic for about 2 years. I was 45 at the time and had a physical and was in perfect shape. Words of the doctor, "you are healthy as a pony." I don't know why I ever started eating dairy products again but I did. Long story short, I have gained 30 pounds since eating macrobiotic and have resigned myself it is the only way I can lose weight. I am starting back on it this weekend.
