Does a parakeet have any predators?

Yes. In they're natural habitat, parakeets are food for any carnivore and any bird of prey that lives where they do. As pets in a protected environment, the parakeet a different set of predators, but they are all still there! Keep your parakeet away from cats, dogs, larger birds and any other potentially meat eating creature. Because they are not well protected, small and not super smart, parakeets make a nice snack for a large variety of other animals.
