yes they do because it causes a earthquake under the water and that's how tsunamis happen
a volcano under the water causes a tsunami <3 :)
it is a tsunami or an under water volcano
Basically, its an earthquake under water.
A volcano doesn't have to be on land so when it errupts under the ocian it some times cause a earthquake. When this happens the earths crust moves allowing water into the gap. And when the crusts move back together the water is pushed out of the gap and creats a huge wave.
a volcano that starts and erupts under water
When two tectonic plates move. For example one goes under another to cause water to be pushed up and more the plate moves higher the tsunami is.
A flood is a lot of water. A tsunami is a big wave. A tsunami can cause a flood.
Wind can't form a tsunami. A tsunami is only caused by a large displacement of water. This is done only by an earthquake, a volcano eruption, a landslide, or a meteorite impact.
Water displacement due to physical land movement causing an underwater wave in a ripple effect. A underwater wave is different from a regular wind driven surface wave in effect because when the underwater wave reach shallow waters it is forced up by forward motion causing a tsunami.
tsunami
an under water earthquake and then formed waves hitting the earth form, killing many thousands of people :(
No, the earthquake in the ocean cause the water to make the tsunami
