AC - Alternating Current, same thing that comes out of a wall socket
DC - Direct Current, batteries.

When a device has AC/DC on its name plate, it can work off either of the two voltages. Many portable radios have this function. When the radio is plugged into AC, the voltage is transformed to the working DC voltage and then rectified to a DC voltage. When the radio is on battery operation, the radio operated strictly from the DC voltage supplied by the batteries. The change between voltages from AC to DC or DC to AC is almost instantaneously. This change over is done through an AC powered relay in the radio. When the AC held in relay looses its supply it de energizes and switches over to DC power if the batteries are in the radio. With batteries in the radio try it. Plug into the AC supply, turn on the radio that has batteries installed in it, unplug the AC supply and the radio will not miss a beat.
They do make base station CB radios, which run off of 120v AC power.
Yes, you can plug a power strip into a generator to run multiple items.
it can get really hot and burn the circuit
your mums head
Yes, assuming the wall outlet produces 120V 60 Hz at at least 4 watts.
No, it will not harm the laptop to remove the battery and plug it in if it will run that way.
Plug it in or extra battery pack.
When I plug in my laptop, it does not use the battery to run the computer. Instead, it uses the wall outlet to run the computer and to recharge the battery. So, by leaving my battery in my laptop when it is plugged in, I am recharging my battery and not running it down. If you take the battery out of your laptop and do not recharge it, it will not last long. The computer batteries that I know about can go from 2 to 8 hours without being recharged.
jump or wall run? If you mean wall run, then just run up to the wall and jump at it while still holding the jump button, you will start to wall run... keep doing this and you will soon be able to do it easily. :D
No, you need the battery or there'll be nothing to charge the laptop with! Yes, i can run my laptop without battery and just plug the adapter. And i do so for a month until recently got a new battery. and it's cheap and runs well. Here is where i bought it (related links).
If the battery of your MacBook is fully charged whilst you have the power cable plugged in, then the MacBook will switch to battery power instead of wasting electrical power from the plug. Once the battery is run down again, the Macbook will switch back to electrical power from the plug.
it means u dont have enough memeory
Plip battery is the battery on the remote control of your car. If the battery is going to run out soon, the car gives you a warning "plip battery spent". You need to chamge the battery.
They do make base station CB radios, which run off of 120v AC power.
find the three pin connector on the inner fire wall on the drivers side in the fuse box area. it`s in plain sight. remove the plug. turn the ignition switch to the run position. jump from the positive battery terminol to the center pin on connector.
Sometimes on roads, but they like trails better (only joking). It is either D.C. current derived from A.C. current from a plug, or directly off of a battery.
you could run head first into a brick wall ... That doesn't mean you should!!!
