Expiration dates are there for a reason.Past that date, they lose their effectiveness. It's not going to be poisonous or anything, but it's not going to work the way it's supposed to - and you have no way of knowing how weak the pill is, so you can't take two of them to make it up, either - that would be very dangerous. Just dispose of expired medication.
