I want to say she's rather dense, and doesn't get it. Though later she realizes that Ryouga seems to appreciate her and uses his kindess to take jabs at Ranma to make him jealous. The closest I would say on the date, when he was rather excited and but she's pretty dense...poor Ryouga.
