the oil that is in the oil filter will not drain from the oil pan plug
but any oil in oil pan and engine will
The 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V8 engine.
top front of the motor
Motor oil drain plug is on the bottom of the oil pan. Oil pan is on bottom of motor. Bottom of motor is under car.
do you mean 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel? i think that motor weighs around 750lbs, not real sure
no a powerstroke is the biggest peace of S H I T. cummins is the best diesel there is.It can also depend on the year of the motors. The powerstroke 7.3 turbo diesel is a very strong motor that has done very well for Ford. The 6.0 powerstroke on the otherhand has done very poorly for Ford. The cummins also gets better fuel mileage than the powerstroke by around 5 mpg's just as a stock motor, but power adders will afect that. In my personal opinion i would would take the cummins over the powerstroke.
Little yellow lever (valve) on left side near bottom of fuel filter housing. Push lever and fuel will drain out of hose near bottom of truck.
check your water pump it has a weep hole in the bottom and will usually run down the front right side of motor
it all depends on the motor but on my 2007 ford powerstroke diesel v-8 it added a 25 horsepower increase with a k&n cold air set for around $228
on the bottom of the motor
That depends.... Is it a powerstroke. You see my 94 f250 was built in Dec. of 93 but sold as a 94 model, therefore it has the old 7.3 (nonpowerstroke) IDI turbo engine and not the 7.3 powerstroke, which I believe has a different size oil filter.
there should be a pitcock on bottom of radiator to drain it. or take the bottom radiator hose with motor cold of course .
right behind the plastic cover that says "powerstroke 7.3 litre" on top of and in the center of the motor
