I have chocolate and white almond bark and they both have expiration dates.
I'm considering using them, they are 3 and 6 months past their date.
I'll test a small part to see if it's got an off taste.

∙ 12y agoIf you are talking about the product that is basically a big chocolate bar and can be melted and used in making candy, then the answer is yes. Unless, it smells bad there is nothing wrong with it. Chocolate does not go bad if kept at moderate temperatures. Even if it develops a "bloom", and looks gray all over it does not hurt the taste or usability of the product. I think the manufacturers put those expiration dates on the packages to protect themselves in case of a lawsuit.
