They're built on the same platform, but only a very limited number of pickups which will have the same length of frame, especially when it comes to matching a 1/2 Suburban to a matching 1/2 ton pickup chassis.
Does a toyota 4 runner have the same frame as a toyota tacoma
the 87 ford plow mount will not fit on the suburban because they frame spacing and bolt patterns are differant..... however.. you can weld extra pieces on the mount to make it work.. but you will have to drill your own holes into both the bracket.. and your frame... my email is tony_cedarfalls@yahoo.com if you have anymore questions reguarding mounting a plow thanks tony
It should because GM has kept the drive lines the same in it's trucks for a long time .
Any 87 Monte Carlo frame will work as it's the same thing.

This would not be a direct swap.......adapters and computer change is inevitable!
1,3,29, or 87... take your pick
First of all is that the 94 suburban has a 4L60E transmission in it. Therefore it will no work in the 87 model.
