Yes, pelicans, like all birds, have backbones, which are also called spinal columns or vertebral columns and are part of an internal skeleton. This makes them classified as vertebratesin the animal kingdom.
For additional information about vertebrates see the related links below.

Of course a pelican has bones. The bones are different from most birds however. Since pelicans are diving birds, their hollow bones are not air-filled, as with most birds, but filled with a substance similar to Styrofoam (the exact name eludes me at the moment).
All birds have bones.......... except for the ones in the butcher shop which have been de-boned. :)
Yes they do or I would think so
yes yes
no they do not they are a cartilage fish meaning they have cartilage instead of bones.
The eagle has a backbone or spine so it is a vertebrate. Vertebrae are the bones which make a backbone.
yes

Eagles, and all birds, are vertebrates because they have a spine (backbone).No. Animals with spines are vertebrates, therefore a bald eagle is a vertebrate.
Think about this. If a eagle didn't have a backbone it wouldn't be able to flap its wings to fly nor would it be able to sit upon a tree branch to rest. Also if there is no backbone how does the body hold itself up. Think about your questions and see if it would make sense to see a eagle without a backbone,it would look like a sack full of feathers.
Both have a backbone and four appendages. They are animals that breathe and rely on food and water.
Because a vertebrate is an animal of a large group distinguished by the possession of a backbone or spinal column, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes
its a vetebrate. There is no such thing as a non vertebrate. it's invertebrate
Yes they do!Yes, they have a backbone.
no bees are invertabrates that means they have no backbone
No. No insect has a backbone.
