Should you run the furnace fan along with the central air to help circulate cool air threw out house?

With central air the furnace fan must be running to provide the air to the living space. If the furnace fan is not running then you get no air out of the ducts and the A-coil (the part of the ac system that is in your furnace duct) will freeze and shut down the compressor (the part that is outside).

How does a whole house fan cool an entire home?

It all depends on the way the fan is pushing the air. If the home is small enough a single fan can be put in a window facing inside overnight, and at times when the temperature is cold, to bring in the air from the outside. The fan can then be turned around to face the outside when the air outside the house is warmer than the inside of the house, basically sucking the warmer air outside.

Why does your central heat blow cool air when it comes on?

If it`s a heat pump, they do that, heat is not instantaneous with them. If it`s a furnace the fan/limit switch or fan delay timer whichever you have, needs to be adjusted.

Why is your refrigerator blowing warm air?

Your compressor is not working. Through evaporation compressors cool the evaporator coil and the fan blows air across it. So if the fan is blowing hot air the compressor is not cooling the coil. But check to see if the dial inside the fridge is turned to "more cold" , that turns the compressor on.

How does a fan blowing air over an electric component keep it cool in terms of conduction and convection?

The moving air from the fan is picking up energetic molecules and carrying them off. This lowers the average motion of the molecules then lowering the overall temperature.

Does a portable cooling fan cool the air?

If it is just a fan, it will not cool it, it will simply blow the air around. To cool the air, you need a portable air conditioner. This will suck air in, cool it down, vent the hot air out (usually through the window, but can also be vented out through the roof or into a different room) and put the remaining cool air back into your room.
