Yes, I have a 6 gallon fuel tank for my Johnson Outboard and after it stop keeping the primer (black bubble) hard due to air going in, I took it apart. Found the problem was a broken plastic line that was taking air.... At the end of this plastic line (seating at the bottom of the tank so it can empty the whole tank) there is a mesh type filter, so the fuel that you put in is pre-filter before going to the outboard main filter.... Hope this helps,
There is no fuel filter, just a mesh sock inside the tank on the fuel pickup line.
Yes, there is a nylon ``sock`` on bottom of fuel pickup.
it does not have one, aside from the sock on the pickup in the tank... my 05 and my moms 04 neither have one
The only fuel filter on the 1999 Protege is a "sock" on the fuel pump pickup tube inside the gas tank. The sock can't be replaced seperately from Mazda, you have to replace the fuel pump which does not include the sending unit.
200 Dodge Ram pickup truck does not have a fuel filter. The only filtering device in the system is a "sock" fitted over the end of the fuel pickup tube in the gas tank.
This depends on whether you count the pickup sock inside the tank as a filter. There is a regularly changed filter on the lower part of the front fire wall. There is the sock on the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.
look in the gas tanke may have sock on fule pump then follow the fuel line and replace all filters may have more than one
there is a filter in line and a sock filter on the fuel pump in the tank!
On a 1999 Ford Explorer : There is a " sock " on the end of the electric fuel pump pickup The fuel filter is underneath the vehicle , below the drivers door , mounted on the frame rail
Believe it or not but their is no in-line fuel filter. The fuel pump in the tank has a sock style filter and the sock is the filter. It is not serviceable unless the entire pump is replaced!!! Thats an expensive fuel filter.
On a 1998 Ford Mustang : ( No ) The fuel FILTER is underneath the vehicle , near the gas tank , going towards the front of the vehicle * the ELECTRIC fuel PUMP is inside the gas tank ( I believe it has a " sock " on the end of the pickup
in the gas tank. You replace the filter sock at the end of the fuel pump in the tank. This is the only filter. *the sock in the gas tank is the screen the filter is located underneath the vehicle in the gas line looks like a silver can
