Here is a bio on her that's on the back of my painting.
the "paint bug' hit me in the third grade grammar school. With a new box of water colors on my desk, the teacher offered three freshly picked violets and said, " Paint these" and a new world opened for me.
My family was more or less artistic, but i never received formal art training. While still in grammar school, mother, who had some instruction in oil painting, gave me my first set of oils and endeavored to provide the fundamentals.
Since there was no art teacher in our little home town in Missouri, copying good reproductions of art seemed the only alternative. from this I learned much about drawing, composition and color. I also read and studied all art books the public library could provide.
The real joy came, however, when I learned to sketch and paint nature. Copying from other artists was no longer interesting. Trying to capture the beauty that Mother nature so lavishly, and often so fleetingly, spreads before us, is the great challenge.
I am a former member of the Denver Art Club and the Colorado Springs Art Guild and have exhibited in various art shows and galleries in lowa and Colorado. It later years other duties prevented me from joining the art club activities but I have continued to paint. Many of my paintings now hang in homes throughtout the U.S.

I wouldn't want anyone tattooing my body if they were not an artist.
It was published by the Donald Art Co. Inc. NY in 1972.
I have one....Who was this artist? Is he still alive? It's a pretty nice detailed painting.
I have the same painting, but can't find anything about the Artist. Does anyone have any information?
Anyone with a creative mind. anyone with a paintbrush
No, it is against the law in the US unless you have been granted explicit information and give due credit to the artist.
