This is the only information I can find relating to a T Robertson in the 19th century. "Thomas Robertson (b. 1821 OH) in his father's household 1850 Spencer Co. IN -listed as gunsmith and with no wife. Thomas disappears after 1850. The was also a Thomas Robertson gunmaker, who reportedly died in 1848 during the Mexican War - from Spencer Co."

contact the gunsmith in question and ask. Most will work on guns fo anyone 18 yrs or older. Younger, will need to have a parent or adult involved.
