Yes, Promag makes an entire stock conversion for the 597 called the Archangel. It comes with a pistol grip, replacement handguards, a 6 position stock, and a barrel mount for a FSB. The whole package can be had for around $160 at various sites. Good luck.
Yes, The receiver pins are the same as the Remington 870, so any stock that will fit the 870 will fit the 7400
yep ... choate
Yes.
It is the stock, and not the firearm. Amazon does not, and cannot sell firearms the way they sell books or DVDs.
Although I have seen some straight-stocked Marlin lever action rifles, as far as I can recall, every Marlin bolt action rifle I ever saw came from the factory with a pistol grip stock. If by "pistol grip stock" you mean a stock like the police sometimes use on riot guns, with just a pistol grip, and no shoulder stock on it, I've never heard of it, and can't imagine why anyone would want one. I would check with the local authorities before I started cutting off buttstocks to make my own. I believe there are legal limits to how short some firearms can be. Hope that helps.
Your local gun dealer can order (and fit) one for you.
No, the Remington Model 1100 stock has a hole (recepticle) through the inside of the stock in the pistol grip area to accept the action spring tube. The Remington Model 870 stock has no need for this hole so the 870 stock will not fit on the Model 1100 action.
Don't think so. That is the Marlin 1894S, and all that I have seen have the straight stock, unlike the Model 336 with a pistol grip stock..
It all depends on the condition of the rifle ie. blueing, stock, bore. Any where from $250 to $400.
No
If I recall correctly, 14 and it loads from the stock. This is long rifle ammo.
The bottom of the barrel, left of center, just in front of the stock.
