Does anyone the the difference between hydrocodone class3 and oxycodone class2 besides oxycodone being stronger?

Youre right oxycodone is stronger, the difference is on the "Class Schedule" hydrocodone is considered a C3 because it has less adictive potention then oxycodone which is a C2, the DEA classes drugs by there potential for Addiction, a C1 is a drug you are only able to receive while in the hospital.

What is the difference between oxycocet and oxycodone?
These two drugs are similar, but NOT the same. Hydrocodone is the generic name for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and about 30 others. It is a narcotic analgesic, and not quite as strong as Oxycodone. It's also SLIGHTLY less regulated i.e. it can be CALLED IN to a pharmacy by a physician. It can be habit forming. Vicodin and the rest are a combo of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Oxycodone is also a narcotic analgesic, and also can be habit-forming. It can also be a combo of acetaminophen and oxycodone (generic) such as Percocet, Tylox, Roxilox. It is SLIGHTLY more regulated i.e. it CANNOT be called in to a pharmacy: you have to have a physical written prescription from a physician. Because of its potential for abuse and dependence, doctors tend to prescribe Vicodin rather than Percocet. Oxycodone can be prescribed as a single drug preparation ( minus the acetaminophen.)
Can an 8 panel test show the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone?
Both will show up as a positive for opiates, however there are tests that specifically test for oxycodone (same as roxy's). You'll have to look at the test panal and see what catagories are tested for specifically.
