Bacteria can easily spread from place to place in many different ways. Here are some of them.

  • Cholera spreads through exposure to or just being around filthy/dirty water
  • Tuberculosis spreads when people inhale and exhale; it gets into the air or onto surfaces
  • Lyme Disease gets on to humans by being bitten by black-legged ticks but isn't contagious
  • Like Tuberculosis, many viral and bacterial infections spread through touching some surface that has the microorganism on it

Those are some of the main ones that I know.
