Yes. Many band instruments are tuned to B-flat or E-flat, so playing in those or related keys is much easier than sharp keys.
This is simply people's opinions. I think people prefer orchestras because there are more porfessional orchestras than professional concert bands, there is a larger variety of music for orchestra, and the orchestra can have a larger variety of instruments.
The names "symphony orchestra" and "philharmonic orchestra" are synonymous regarding both size of band and quality of players and music-making. The name "sinfonia" would imply that an orchestra is smaller - probably using fewer string players but this is not always the case.
probably not. She thinks shes too cool for it

Besides band has marching season, and that's the best season ever!! Orchestra you're just sitting down playing music, and in band, u march and learn the music by memory. It's so much fun!!!! I mean if you can show me a marching Orchestra, we'll talk. Hope you liked my Answer!!!

An orchestra, a concert band, a choir, a marching band, a jazz ensemble. Most ensembles with more than 10 players and a conductor are not considered chamber groups, although this varies. For example, Igor Stravinsky's Octet for Winds is a chamber work, but it is often conducted. Also, a chamber orchestra or chamber choir can have up to 20 players and a conductor and can still be considered a chamber group.
More than 100 acoustical cubes hang from the ceiling of Minnesota's Orchestra Hall.

Brahms
There are many English national orchestras. No one English orchestra is more important than another in the grand scheme of things.
Depends ... if the orchestra is playing pianissimo and the soloist fortisimo, then the soloist would be more intense.
A symphonic band is different from an orchestra primarily due to the absence of string instruments, such as violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. Instead, a symphonic band typically consists of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. This distinction in instrumentation leads to different sound qualities and repertoire, with symphonic bands often focusing on concert band literature rather than orchestral works.
