no it does not.unless you disengage with the brakes, not the control button
Common issue...if the brake light swith is not working; the cruise control will not engage and your brake lights will not go on. replacing switch is easy and inexpensive...its located in the upper part of the brake pedal.
It's near the brake pedal or brake light switch.... It deactivates cruise control
One for brake lights, one for cruise control. If you hit the brakes when using cruise control, that second switch is what tells the control modules that the brake is being depressed.
yes
The cruise control is fed by the engine computer through the brake light switch. It does not have a separate fuse.If the engine runs and the brake lights work, it is not a fuse.
There are two. The brake light switch and the cruise control cut off switch. You are probably talking about the cruise control cut off switch. When you depress the brake pedal, the brake lights come on and the cruise control stops. Hope this helps
Check if emergency brake is fully disengaged.
Under dash fuse 6 is cruise control fuse, also check 11 as this is stop light and brake pedal switch which can affect cruise working. also third high moung brake light bulb burnt out will cause problems.EjesCo
The engine computer through the brake light switch. The engine computer through the brake light switch.
at the top behind brake pedal, don't remove the lower switch it for the cruise control
I have a 93 Caprice and the cruise went out a few times. Check the third brake light in the back of the window. If it is out replace it and this might fix the problem. Also check the fuse as it controls the cruise and third brake light as well.
check to see if your spoiler brake light is out replace it and it usually will finish the ground to the abs sensor and cruise control
