No, it actually helps your teeth more
It can be depending which way you do it; the more movement you do the more exercise you are completing; here is a link for a SUPER exercise routine while brushing your teeth: http://www.ehow.com/how_4937759_exercise-brushing-teeth.html
Dental and oral health depend on regular care of the mouth and teeth, including regular brushing. Small point: "not brushing your teeth" is not a habit. Brushing your teeth is a habit. A habit is a specific behavior that you increase with some type of reinforcement. A non-behavior is literally anything-- it is not itself a behavior that can be increased.
Friction helps in taking grip of the toothbrush. It is helpful while brushing & flossing, it allows you to clean your teeth.
That probaly means that your brushing too hard, try brushing more gently.
Mouthwash is not a substitute for tooth brushing. Everyone should brush his or her teeth at least twice daily, and floss once daily. This is the minimum frequency necessary to prevent plaque build-up, and the cavities that can result. Mouthwash is used, not to prevent cavities, but to prevent bad breath. Since you're going to brush and floss, and you want to use mouthwash, it makes more sense to use the mouthwash after brushing and flossing, rather than before, since brushing and flossing stirs up bacteria and other malodorous debris.
No, you just waste more water like that.
Try taking a shower every day and brushing your teeth more often.
Easily. But more likely they get more and more yellow, and cause trouble with your other teeth. Don't forget agonising pain! Brush 'Em!
you must not be lazy when it comes to brushing your teeth! As someone once said "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" now let's see what this saying is actually saying - in a pound there are 16 ounces. This means that if you prevent something from happening it will be sixteen times more effective than dealing with the consequences later. This means that you need to start brushing (and flossing!) regularly. There is no excuse not to. If you don't - you will regret it and have to do sixteen times the amount of brushing, or even worse: have a tooth removed ! So take my advice, you will not regret it (i promise).- Greg
Brushing your teeth once a day is now recommended since over brushing is as much as a problem as not brushing them enough. You should use mouthwash and floss in the morning after breakfast and brush your teeth and floss before going to bed everyday. Chewing sugarfree gum 20minutes after every meal (or after as many as possible) will keep your mouth healthy and your teeth protected. Flossing is actually more important than brushing and so its something you should be more concerned about. ------------- Brushing your teeth 3 times a day is important as it makes sure that you're keeping bacteria away and stopping the forming of plaque. Also you need to floss and use a water pick to make sure all areas of your teeth are cleaned. While brushing you need to be careful not to press too hard cause that may damage your gums. Not at all. Just only do it if you want a flavour mix.
